BCR — MAPKAPK2
Text-mined interactions from Literome
Swart et al., J Immunol 2000
(Lymphoma, B-Cell...) :
BCR cross linking also
led to increased
MAPK activated protein kinase-2 activity, an enzyme that lies immediately downstream from p38 MAPK ; MAPK activated protein kinase-2 immune complexes phosphorylated a peptide substrate containing the CREB serine 133 phosphoacceptor motif
Salmon et al., J Immunol 1997
:
Cross linking of the
B cell Ag receptor (BCR) or CD40 on freshly isolated or LPS activated splenic B cells or the immature B lymphoma, WEHI 231,
resulted in activation of p38 MAPK and
MAPKAP kinase-2 ... We conclude that the
activation of p38 MAPK and
MAPKAP kinase-2 by cross linking of the TCR,
BCR , Fas, or CD40 was not correlated with their roles in regulating lymphocyte survival, and that suppression of kinase activity did not inhibit the induction of apoptosis
