NFKBIA — TLR2

Pathways - manually collected, often from reviews:

  • OpenBEL Selventa BEL large corpus: NFKBIA → TLR2 (decreases, NFKBIA Activity) DueƱas et al., Cardiovasc Res 2008*
Evidence: The activation of TLR2 by Pam3CSK4 induced the degradation of the NF-kB inhibitor IkBa in human monocyte-derived macrophages. NF-kB activation was blocked by S1P at low micromolar concentrations. Statistically significant inhibition of TLR2-dependent NF-kB activation was observed with 1 mM S1P, which argues in favour of a receptor-dependent and physiologically relevant effect (Figure 4A).

Shuto et al., Proc Natl Acad Sci U S A 2001 (MAP Kinase Signaling System) : Activation of NF-kappa B by nontypeable Hemophilus influenzae is mediated by toll-like receptor 2-TAK1 dependent NIK-IKK alpha /beta-I kappa B alpha and MKK3/6-p38 MAP kinase signaling pathways in epithelial cells
Vabulas et al., J Biol Chem 2002 : We find that the Gp96-TLR2/4 interaction results in activation of nuclear factor kappaB-driven reporter genes and mitogen- and stress activated protein kinases and induces IkappaBalpha degradation
Chen et al., Biochem Biophys Res Commun 2004 : Nontypeable Haemophilus influenzae lipoprotein P6 induces MUC5AC mucin transcription via TLR2-TAK1 dependent p38 MAPK-AP1 and IKKbeta-IkappaBalpha-NF-kappaB signaling pathways ... Moreover, P6 induces MUC5AC transcription via TLR2-MyD88-IRAK1-TRAF6-TAK1 dependent p38 MAPK-AP1 and IKKbeta-IkappaBalpha-NF-kappaB signaling pathways
Yoshida et al., J Biol Chem 2005 (Inflammation) : We showed that activation of TLR2 signaling by TLR2 ligands including peptidoglycan ( PGN ), MALP-2, and Pam3CSK4 induces activation of IKKs-IkappaBalpha and MKK3/6-p38 pathways not only by TRAF6 but also by TRAF7, a recently identified TRAF family member
Mueller et al., J Immunol 2006 : TLR4/MD-2 mediated LPS uptake and TLR ligand induced I-kappaBalpha phosphorylation and IL-8 secretion were significantly diminished in Th2 cytokine primed IECs
Qin et al., J Biol Chem 2006 : On the other hand, TLR8 mediated IkappaBalpha phosphorylation, NF-kappaB, and JNK activation are completely abolished in MEKK3 ( -/- ) MEFs, whereas IL-1 mediated signaling was only moderately reduced in these deficient MEFs as compared with wild-type cells
Polumuri et al., J Immunol 2007 : Although TLR induced IkappaBalpha degradation was not affected by FcgammaR ligation, IkappaBalpha accumulated in the nuclei of cells treated with LPS and FcgammaR ligation for 4 h, and was blocked by PI3K inhibitors
MacLeod et al., Clinical and vaccine immunology : CVI 2008 : PorB was able to induce ( i ) protein tyrosine kinase ( PTK ) activity, ( ii ) the phosphorylation of Erk1 and Erk2, and ( iii ) IkappaB-alpha phosphorylation, leading to NF-kappaB nuclear translocation in B cells in a TLR2 dependent manner
Henning et al., J Immunol 2008 : SP-A decreases the phosphorylation of IkappaBalpha , a key regulator of NF-kappaB activity, and nuclear translocation of p65 which result in diminished TNF-alpha secretion in response to TLR ligands
Xie et al., Biochem Biophys Res Commun 2009 (Breast Neoplasms...) : TLR2 activation enhanced the activity of NF-kappaB and induced phosphorylation of TAK1 and IkappaBalpha in the TLR2/NF-kappaB signaling pathway in MDA-MB-231, but not in MCF-7 cells
